Spit
Shit, bastard
Damn
Fuck
Hood wars
Dernell opened the door
The men ran
Yelling
Bludgeoning his face
With
Car batteries
Kane
The money piled
High
Next to the steaming pile
Of
Shit
Drunk Dog
Urinating freely
Onto the Egyptian tile below
Clashing with the
Design
Is this dog
Drunk?
Supermarket
In my hands
I knew it
Later, at home
Horror
Terror
Loss
Uncle
He wore a mustache
A sweater
And the
Weight
Of the world
Prize
Everywhere I went
They noticed
Her beauty basking me in
Rays
Everywhere I went
Terrified
The cliffs
Crashing in
Words blocked out by
Natures will
The rocks
Painted
By the lies
Of
Birds
Lasagna
Layered with love
Noodles of glory
And dreams
The wonder of
Sauce and love
Shades
I ordered steak, bloody
Dark amber beer
And a broken heart
She had Alfredo
White Wine
And my seed
